The regular number of 6 semesters is needed to complete the Bachelor study program. A total of 180 Credits (Cr) will be acquired, which are comprised as follows:

  • Project-oriented modules: 40 Cr
  • Internship: 11 Cr

First Study Year

In the first study year the basic modules will be dealing with theoretical and applied topics of rehabilitation. The basic modules will provide common background knowledge for all students of rehabilitation sciences. In addition, students will get the opportunity to develop their individual study focus (IP-modules). These IP-modules will consolidate the topics of the basic modules, and practice-oriented course units will be offered.

Second Study Year

In the second year studying the basic modules will be continued and the advanced study modules ‘Individual‘ and ‘Society‘ will be added. The students will also take course units to develop their individual study focus.

Third Study Year

An essential part of the third study year are the project-oriented modules. Here, students have to carry out a project from planning and execution to analysis and final presentation of the findings. They work together in groups supported by a member of the scientific staff. The main part of their work is, however, their own responsibility. Lectures of the individual study focus are also part of the third study year.

Internship

An internship of 8 weeks has to be done at the end of the first study year in an institution of rehabilitation and education.

Commencement of Studies

The Bachelor course of study can only be commenced at the start of the Winter semester.
